Black Friday, which officially begins on November 29, has arrived earlier at some merchants a week ahead of schedule. Why the craze? How can these expenses be justified?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where did this idea for Black Friday come from?<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Several hypotheses exist today, but the most relevant one dates back to 1930. Indeed, the day after Thanksgiving always falling on a Friday. the Americans were planning long weekends that created traffic jams. The police then called Black Friday.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the Great Depression, traders thought it might be worth reinvigorating the economy. They then take advantage of the Black Friday weekend to sell the prices of their products. And it worked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In France Black Friday arrived in early 2010, starting with American e-commerce sites such as Amazon. Subsequently, sites specializing mainly in the high-tech and appliance sector followed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Excess<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Black Friday is a day as eager as sales see more. This phenomenon creates debates, especially on overconsumption. Marketing to encourage consumers to buy when the need is not always present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This overconsumption leads to another major problem, which is the lack of ethics. According to Retailmenot, 5.9 billion expenses are planned in France, but who are the people behind all these products purchased? Where are the objects made? And especially by whom? Consuming without any real interest is a pity. But it shouldn't deteriorate the working conditions of employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not everyone sees Black Friday as a day to have fun. Some have thoughtful buying behavior and will wait a whole year and buy little and spend only that day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The co-founder of the Faguo brand sta<\/a>rted this movement and since then more than 600 brands have joined him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here the mission is radical; not all brands joining this movement will make Black Friday. Instead, they will communicate how to consume better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
