Simple, healthy and silky. Here’s how I’ll sum up the Organic Basics brand born out of a project by Alexander, Christoffer and Mads, the founders.

I discovered the organic Basics brand on Instagram. I was not intrigued by the enthusiasm that this brand generated among eco-responsible bloggers. I understood this when I met Dimitri, a salesman at Organic Basics at the eco-responsible fashion show in Neonyt.
Hundreds of thousands of lingerie brands exist around the world. And we have the choice among thousands of different designs, but what about the quality and the environmental impact? Three students asked themselves these questions; Alexander, Christoffer and Mads and decided to answer this problem. They started by throwing body-friendly boxers with a very basic model. A success that quickly resonated with women, prompting them to launch a Women’s collection a year after their creation in 2015.
Becoming the world’s 100% eco-responsible lingerie brand
Organic Basics now uses different eco-friendly fabrics such as Tencel™, GOTS certified cotton or recycled materials such as nylon or wool.
The use of these different ecological materials is one of the major priorities to become the 100% eco-friendly underwear brand in the world. Even today, Organic Basics admits to using some plastics like elasthanne and are currently looking for other alternatives to reduce their carbon footprint. Th
ey are partners of 1% for the planet whose principle is to donate 1% of its turnover to environmental associations.
Body Potivism
Many controversies have arisen regarding the representation of women in advertising. Organics Basics chooses different types of ambassadors that represent all women.

My opinion
I’ve seen a lot of eco-friendly bloggers and say that good compared to this brand. I can only confirm their feedbacks. Since I started wearing them, I feel good about myself, it’s pleasant to the touch and simple. I highly recommend this brand for those who suffer from skin-related allergies.
