This month, Byotifull Box bathes us in a country world, with a rich routine with Provençal flavors.
I’m not a beauty expert. To tell you, 6 months ago, I sometimes cleaned my face with shower gel. It was mostly soap on fat. I already see the frightened mines of dermatologists or beauty experts… Doesn’t being eco-responsible mean being equally responsible for yourself? of his body? Well yes, and that’s why in this transition, I decided to test the Box La Provençale of BiotyfullBox.
Biotyfull Box: what is it?
A beauty care routine box sent once a month. Personalized according to the seasons, it offers cosmetic products for the face, body, vegan and organic hair.
Travel to Provence
It’s always nice to open a package and take out a nice box like this. Especially since it was opened on a day when the weather was quite sad for me. It brought more heat right away. The only snag I can fault are the small sets of paper that were in the box (not present in the photos). It’s paper wasted for nothing. Nevertheless I will reuse them for parcels or gifts.
Make way for the routine of the month
1. Corème Paris’s micellar lotion
I use it in the evening and or in the morning with Biotyfull’s reusable makeup removers. The feeling is very refreshing.
This water is made up of three ingredients:
- lavender extract that has a healing effect
- blueberry water which is used in particular to fight irritation and also has a decongestant (de-cluttering) and soothing effect
- aloe vera juice: well known as a purifying drink, it has the same effect on our skin.
2. The Shower Gel “Lavande de Provence/Miel de l’Essentiel de Lavender
I fell in love with the smell of this COSMOS ORGANIC certified shower gel® and labeled COSMEBIO® Bio. The gel is quite liquid so watch out for long-term use.
It is made up of ingredients that promote the well-being of our skin such as:
- floral water and lavender essential oil to soothe
- honey: which nourishes and moisturizes the skin
- lime extracts: to tone the skin
3. Bio Glam Chic’s Tanning Activator Preparatory Treatment
Unfortunately, this product is of no use to me because I have black skin. I have no interest in sunbathing but rather in protecting my skin from the sun. It is an alternative that could be offered to those who do not wish to sunbathe.
Small personal note: I think that every brand of French cosmetics, must take into account that the whole population is not Caucasian, especially in 2020! Still, I recommend it (His score is 100/100 on Yuka). 🙂
4. Sainte Victoire’s “Pearl Effect” Glitter Face Cream
I do very little makeup but sometimes I want to pump myself casually.
I was skeptical of the color of the cream (see photo) because I wasn’t sure it “matched” with my complexion.
Verdict after application… and finally I find it pretty nice. The glitter effect is discreet and it does not stick. It leaves a pleasant smell.
In addition, it is CERTIFIed COSMOS ORGANIC® and labeled COSMEBIO®. It has a double action, both moisturizing and sublimating.
5. Pure By Valérie’s Natural Black Volume Mascara
This is the 3rd organic mascara I’m trying and I have to say that this one is exactly what I expect. As written before, I do very little makeup but if there is one product that I use almost every day to go out, it is mascara.
Just by seeing the brush (see photo below), it gives an idea of the result that can be obtained. The lashes are well separated, the look strengthened but not too much. There is no “pasty” effect that can sometimes be found in some mascara. For those who want a minimum volume, I recommend it.
The lashes are hydrated thanks to the mixture of castor oil, sweet almond from Provence and jojoba oil.
Conquered
It’s all in the title. For someone like me who knows little about beauty care, Biotyfull Box is a good choice to learn. The advantage of having a description of the use of the products and the properties they bring back is reassuring.
In the long run, receiving products every month would not be right for me. I want to keep a minimalist lifestyle and focus on homemade recipes. However, these products can give ideas and above all, allow us to learn more about our body.
